In March of 2009, Partner Engineering and Science purchased the assets of LandAmerica Assessment Corporation. Much of LandAmerica’s technical staff continues as key members of Partner’s team. Partner owns the old reports for LandAmerica Assessment Corporation and the two companies that they acquired: National Assessment Corporation and Aaron and Wright Technical Services. In addition to these purchases, Partner purchased one of the industry's leaders in ALTA survey coordination, Continental Surveying, during the first quarter of 2011. Previous owner and founder of Continental Surveying, James Davenport, joined Partner during this acquisition in order to head up Partner's National Survey Coordination group.
