Geotechnical Investigations

The geotechnical investigation is one of the first steps in the construction process. Partner performs geotechnical borings during due diligence and in support of foundation design. Partner's engineers and national network of drillers and laboratories provide our clients with cost effective geotechnical investigations on a national basis. Work from geologic mapping to logging of borings to collecting and submitting soil samples for laboratory analysis, every aspect of the field investigation is an important step in sound and cost effective building design.

Our engineers and geologists use small-diameter and large-diameter borings, backhoe excavations, CPT soundings, continuous core rigs, air-track drill rigs, and laboratory analysis to understand the load bearing capacity of soil. We prepare soil reports and make appropriate foundation recommendations.

We support projects after the soils report by providing:

  • Response to Building Department Reviews
  • Addendums for Changes
  • Foundation Plan Review/Signature
  • Construction Services such as Observation, Compaction Testing, and Footing Inspections.

In addition to Geotechnical Investigations, Partner offers Erosion Control services. Call now and see how Partner can help.
