SUMMARY

Partner is seeking a full-time Environmental Researcher to work in our New York, NY office.    

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS

  • Conduct independent project research as applicable to scope of work (historical, regulatory, analytical, etc.)
  • Data compilation and organization
  • Technical report authoring
  • Preparation of quality supporting report documents/files
  • Data Entry into firm database
  • Assist with some administrative duties, as needed

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform historical and regulatory research on properties throughout the U.S. and Canada
  • Contact municipal agencies and utility providers for required information
  • Compile reports and deliver based on clients requirements/instructions
  • Maintain project files on company server and FTP site.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Adobe
  • Attention to details is a must
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in environmental field or in an administrative or researching capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • A degree in environmental or another science discipline a plus

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.
