SUMMARY
Partner is seeking a full-time Environmental Researcher to work in our New York, NY office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS
- Conduct independent project research as applicable to scope of work (historical, regulatory, analytical, etc.)
- Data compilation and organization
- Technical report authoring
- Preparation of quality supporting report documents/files
- Data Entry into firm database
- Assist with some administrative duties, as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform historical and regulatory research on properties throughout the U.S. and Canada
- Contact municipal agencies and utility providers for required information
- Compile reports and deliver based on clients requirements/instructions
- Maintain project files on company server and FTP site.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Adobe
- Attention to details is a must
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to multi task and prioritize
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in environmental field or in an administrative or researching capacity
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- A degree in environmental or another science discipline a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
- Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.
