Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. has an immediate position open for an HR Generalist with a desire to work in a fast paced and growing company in our Eatontown, NJ office. 


This position will provide all generalist support to our Human Resource Department. Must have thorough knowledge of current Federal and State labor laws, nationwide as the company has offices in almost all states.





  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR related questions received
  • Prepares weekly, monthly and annual HR reports as needed by Operations or executives
  • Ensure all employees are entered and processed correctly in the HRIS system
  • Periodically audits the database to ensure accuracy
  • Keeps employee physical files
  • Processes employee changes in a timely manner
  • Employment verification requests, unemployment verifications, disability verifications requests


Benefits Administration

  • Assists employees with any benefit issues or concerns, as needed
  • Assists with annual open enrollment
  • Short Term Disability processing and Unemployment Insurance Processing
  • Receive and process employee leave of absence requests and worker’s compensation incident reports for all offices in various states



  • Assist with on-boarding new hires, including offer letter processing, start day training and coordination, processing benefits and new hire paperwork
  • Receive employee complaints and obtain Human Resources Manager involvement to assist with investigations, review findings, and resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory concerns and reporting
  • Perform routine administrative tasks to ensure HR processes are completed accurately, and on time, and in accordance with established HR business processes
  • Responsible for performance review process assistance



  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Knowledge of all Federal and state employment laws and related legislation including Americans with Disabilities Act, EEOC, FEHC, OSHA and the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees and management
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment



  • Bachelor’s Degree required, emphasis in Human Resources preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist, 2 years minimum HR related work experience
  • Proficiency in HRIS software a must, Ultimate Software a plus
  • Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Excel  and data entry
  • PHR preferred but not required



  • Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
  • Must be able to communication clearly in person and over the telephone
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift
