Partner Engineering and Science is seeking a full time Land Surveyor (Licensed is a PLUS) for our Santa Ana office. The ideal candidate must have at least 8- 10 years’ experience in the field, office and project management. Types of projects range from infrastructures such as buildings and facility sites, as-built surveys, open raw land and development sites to residential and commercial development projects and construction staking with an emphasis on ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys.



  • Performing “field to finish” surveys
  • Assistance in drafting, research of project requirements, proposal preparation and scheduling to meet client deadlines
  • Survey calculations, analysis and field support calculations



  • Must have experience in boundary surveys and analysis, topographic surveys, perform land records research
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus to support the team by completing technical mapping and final drawings for agency submittals and specifications for approval
  • Candidate will also need to assist in identifying the survey market opportunities and help procure clients
  • Working knowledge and experience with Robotic surveying instruments and GPS equipment
  • Ability to interact well with team, staff, clients and sub-contractors
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Good problem solving abilities – in both field and office with the understanding and commitment to CAD standards and procedures.



  • Bachelor Degree from accredited university
  • 8 to 10 years relevant experience in field, office and project management
  • PLS license is a BIG PLUS



  • Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, and standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.
