SUMMARY

Partner is seeking a full-time Project Manager in our Pasadena or Torrance office. This person will be responsible for all administrative duties and staffing for our Structural/Seismic consulting practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working in an office environment and managing short-duration projects.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors
  • Provide staffing solutions
  • Work in a team environment
  • Be an effective and responsive communicator
  • Track, forecast, and solve potential scheduling conflicts before they arise
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat & Reader.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical skills.
  • Self-directed, organized, and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of relevant office experience working in an engineering or environmental field is a plus

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the workshift
