SUMMARY
Partner is seeking a full-time Project Manager in our Pasadena or Torrance office. This person will be responsible for all administrative duties and staffing for our Structural/Seismic consulting practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working in an office environment and managing short-duration projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors
- Provide staffing solutions
- Work in a team environment
- Be an effective and responsive communicator
- Track, forecast, and solve potential scheduling conflicts before they arise
- Maintain professional relationships with clients
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat & Reader.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical skills.
- Self-directed, organized, and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
- 3-5 years of relevant office experience working in an engineering or environmental field is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
- Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the workshift
