Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is currently actively seeking a full-time HUD Project Manager. The project manager will have a working knowledge of building performance, construction and/or design experience with emphasis on Multifamily and/or Healthcare.  Services will include review, coordination, and tracking of submittal documents for multiple projects. Verbal and written communication with clients, lenders, developers, architects, engineers in conjunction with reporting requirements.  Report assembly, adjustment and coordination with the lender and managing staff.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Act as “point person” for project coordination through final reporting
  • Create and monitor internal and external timelines for deliverables
  • Assist in the investigation and reporting of subject site findings for inclusion in reviews and reports
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
  • Building construction experience and building codes knowledge
  • Understand plan assembly, construction administration, or project management (when working, as or with, a design professional)
  • Maintain continual progression of pertinent details, such as dates, notes and all communications
  • Computer skills with experience in word processing, spreadsheet applications and preparing Adobe pdf documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills
  • Coordinate/attend project conference calls and meetings, as necessary
  • Ability to work independently and accurately, with interruptions, to meet deadlines
  • Review and coordinate with clients and staff concerning project deliverables, report status,
  • etc
  • Clearly communicate the need for revised documents internally and externally with project teams addressing significant issues within the architectural review, environmental items related to each project such as asbestos, lead-based paint, noise, etc
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with an overall function as part of a larger team
  • Ability to independently establish priorities and coordinate and complete competing assignments within established timeframes

  • Excellent typing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Have and maintain a working knowledge of the HUD MAP Guide
  • Review and maintain project submittal checklists with clients
  • Coordinate, participate and/or conduct site visits, as necessary
  • Coordinate quality control reviews
  • Coordinate all requested client revisions
  • Arrange production of all final reports as requested by clients
  • ICC or CSI certification are BIG PLUS
  • Registered Architect is BIG PLUS
