Douglas Lawson, PhD, CIH

Dr. Lawson has over 41 years of experience in the health & safety/industrial hygiene field, including regulatory agency (OSHA), industrial/manufacturing (GE & AT&T) and consulting experience. He has conducted over 400 health and safety compliance audits, developed and implemented health and safety programs, evaluated worker exposure to hazardous chemicals and physical hazards, implemented engineering controls, provided worker training programs and conducted all aspects of hazardous materials management, including asbestos, lead-based paint, PCBs in building materials, radon and indoor air quality/mold.

For the past twenty-nine years, Dr. Lawson has been in the consulting field managing a national practice which provides a wide variety of health/safety and industrial hygiene services to local, regional and national private and public sector clients. His work has included health and safety compliance audits, asbestos surveys and abatement projects, lead-based paint inspections, indoor air quality and mold assessments and mitigation, and radon surveys and mitigation.
