Duncan Douglas

Duncan Douglas has over 27 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. He has extensive experience in managing all aspects of transactional due diligence, with a focus on environmental due diligence for a variety of property types. He also provides Property Condition Assessments, Phase II Subsurface Investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, regulatory compliance, asbestos, mold, and indoor air quality assessments, lead-in-water and lead-based paint surveys, as well as geotechnical and seismic risk assessments throughout the United States. His broad knowledge and experience in managing multiple services in association with both real estate due diligence and post-transactional work allows him to provide clients with comprehensive environmental and engineering services throughout the entire lifecycle of asset ownership.

Mr. Douglas has served as project manager on over 3,000 real estate transactions on various property types including industrial properties, automobile dealerships, gasoline service stations, dry cleaning plants, retail shopping centers, high-rise downtown and suburban office buildings, hospitals and other medical properties, restaurant properties, assisted living and multifamily residential properties, multi-state timberland tracts, and agricultural properties. His broad range and depth of experience enables him to implement customer-focused, value-driven solutions for a diverse range of client needs.

For more than 10 years prior to joining Partner, Mr. Douglas was a Vice President and Geosciences and Remediation Area Manager for a leading, multi-disciplinary Fortune 500 engineering firm with annual revenues of $18 billion. His responsibilities included client and project management for transactional due diligence services nationwide, Phase II soil and groundwater investigations, corrective action implementation, and other environmental engineering projects.
