Terry Dungan

Terry Dungan has over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial construction as well as land development, managing projects throughout the continental United States and Canada. He has successfully managed single- and multi-site document and cost review projects encompassing a broad range of property types including retail, office, industrial (ROI), multifamily residential, hospitality, assisted-living, and special-use. Additionally, Mr. Dungan has provided consulting services to clients including Wells Fargo Bank, Compass Bank, Boston Capital and multiple other Construction Lenders as a third-party inspector, reporting on construction progress, budget, and schedule status along with code compliance.

Mr. Dungan has extensive experience in Construction Management, Construction Risk Mitigation, Construction Loan Fund Control, Construction Compliance, Construction Contract, Plan and Cost Analysis, Cost to Cure, Required Repairs Analysis, Construction Costing and Insurance Claim Inspection & Verification. He has managed all aspects of the construction due diligence process for nationwide and local client types such as Residential Developers, Commercial Developers, Mortgage Brokers, Real Estate Brokers, Individual Property Owners and Buyers, and Financial Institutions.

In addition, Mr. Dungan has over eight years of experience as a third-party property assessor/real estate appraiser, and for seven years owned a construction company specializing in new and rehabilitated residential construction. He interfaces directly with bank loan officers, project managers, superintendents, and numerous borrowers on subjects including contract compliance and liabilities as well as scope-of-work issues. He has also been engaged on several major projects including large-scale loan portfolios, high-rise office and residential construction, as well as long-term budget projects of over $300,000,000.
