Jeff Briggs is a seasoned professional with 36 years of experience in the facilities management industry, and he has recently joined Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. (Partner), as a Director, FM Solutions within the MEP Solutions Practice, a part of the Integrated Facilities Solutions Group. Based out of Partner’s Houston office, Briggs brings a wealth of expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire life safety systems, thereby further enhancing Partner’s capabilities in MEP assessments and related scopes for corporate occupier clients. His extensive background includes prominent roles with Fortune 100 companies such as BP, Siemens, Walmart, and Chevron.
At CBRE, Briggs served as the Director of Facilities for the Wesco Account, overseeing a diverse portfolio of more than 800 industrial, commercial, and retail sites across the United States and Canada. He was pivotal in optimizing soft and hard services, including MEP, sustainability, fire life safety, janitorial services, landscaping, and more.
While at Chevron Phillips Chemical, LLC, Briggs excelled as the Global Headquarters Property and Business Services Manager. In this capacity, he managed operational and business service lines for the Global Headquarters’ Class A campus. His leadership extended to various critical projects involving nominal 50-to-300-ton chiller integration, BAS system upgrades, fire life safety systems, electrical systems, and more. He achieved substantial OPEX budget reductions through efficient spend management and technological innovations, while also driving impressive reductions in building utility costs.
