Kurt Angermeier is a seasoned surety and risk control professional with a hands-on approach and a field-oriented background. He is a Senior Project Manager in Partner’s Construction Surety and Owner’s Representative Groups. His 35 years of experience in construction surety claim management, environmental risk control and oversight as an owner’s representative on geotechnical projects allow him to bring a deep and broad perspective to many construction-related matters. His expertise lies in construction claim management services, including payment bond claim review and consultation as well as performance bond default investigations and project completion services for bonding companies. He is well versed in takeover and completion agreements, contract administration, contractor scope of work and payment status review and ratification processes. Prior to joining Partner, Mr. Angermeier worked in the construction surety claim departments for Travelers Insurance Company of America, Liberty Mutual Surety and the risk control group for AXA Insurance.
