Christopher Ghatak

Mr. Ghatak brings 20 years of experience in construction management, architecture, and mediation to support Partner Engineering and Science, Inc.’s (Partner) clients in managing construction risk. Mr. Ghatak delivers full-spectrum, on point, equity-level construction risk management services to a broad range of Partner’s clients often as a follow-up to Partner’s acquisition due diligence services. He provides pre-construction document review, construction progress monitoring, cost to complete analysis, pay application review, project or program management, and special projects as may be required on a client-by-client basis.

Mr. Ghatak’s 12 years of A/E design-side leadership, oversight of coordination and production efforts, and collaborative boots-on approach with builders provide him with a uniquely functional understanding of how the many parties influencing design and construction can unwittingly create risk for investors, lenders and developers, and more importantly, a track record of working to avoid it.

He has significant experience with multi-family, mixed-use, adaptive re-use and commercial building types, high-profile development in the public eye as well as urban design initiatives, sustainability programs and green project certifications. His experience includes 5 years as senior project manager with an AIA National Firm of the Year and multi-year AIA Committee on the Environment award winner.
