Partner Appoints Geoffrey Dobson to Advisory Board 

DUBAI, UAE – Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Geoffrey Dobson as Advisory Board Director, effective immediately. 

Mr. Dobson joins Partner’s EMEA team, headed by David Linkson, Director of EMEA and APAC, supporting Partner primarily within the GCC region while also assisting clients globally. Based in the United Arab Emirates and regularly traveling between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other GCC nations, Mr. Dobson brings extensive international experience and regional expertise to the role.

A professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Mr. Dobson began his distinguished career with HSBC before refining his expertise as a real estate investment asset manager with Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group. He subsequently advanced to a senior advisory role with Chesterton International plc in London, where he headed the Corporate Real Estate team and led their international and cross-border function. 

At Chesterton International, Mr. Dobson coordinated essential services, including loan security and corporate/balance sheet valuation and appraisal, M&A due diligence for real estate assets, construction project monitoring, and investment advisory services. His notable clients included Shell Oil (Europe), Centrica, Molson Coors, Smiths Group, HSBC, Citibank, and Cadbury Schweppes. 

Mr. Dobson’s career trajectory continued with leadership of a Private Equity real estate investment and asset management fund in Germany, followed by a series of senior interim roles with organizations including Hagemeyer (UK), Citibank, Surrey County Council, and Discovery Park Ltd. During this period, he also founded a UK renewable energy business as a joint venture with SolarTechnics AG of Germany, importing, designing, and installing commercial and industrial-scale photovoltaic systems, later expanding into electric vehicle charging and other renewable technologies. 

In 2019, Mr. Dobson relocated to Qatar after being invited to lead the real estate function of Al Faisal Holdings, assuming full P&L and operational responsibility for its Al Jazi Real Estate Investment Company subsidiary. Since then, he has remained a steadfast advocate for the dynamic business environment across the region. 

Mr. Dobson recognizes the immense potential of the GCC region and is committed to supporting businesses operating across these markets. Working alongside the global Partner team, he will also assist Middle Eastern businesses seeking to expand their operations internationally, providing professional advice, insights, and support to help them achieve their objectives.
