About the Project

Nevada Construction Services (NCS) was engaged to complete construction risk management services on the Vegas Golden Knights Practice Facility near Summerlin, Nevada.

NCS completed 15 funds disbursement of hard construction costs and 15 construction progress monitoring (CPM) reports throughout the duration of construction. Construction costs were approximately $27.7 million for the ground up construction of the 146,000 SF building, which includes two (2) full size sheets of ice, NHL training areas, spectator seating for up to 17,000 people, the Mackenzie River Pizza Pub & Grill, The Arsenal Pro Shop, locker rooms, and parking lot for both visitors and players.

The multi-million-dollar National Hockey League (NHL) arena is not only a state of the art facility for the Las Vegas hockey team, but has become a gathering place for the community. Residents come together to observe the team practicing, enjoy a meal and get team autographs. The arena also serves as a home for The Vegas Golden Knights Skating Academy where kids and adults of all ages can learn to figure skate and/or play hockey.
