About the Project

Partner was retained by a confidential client to conduct a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) of a 19.72-acre undeveloped East Kapolei property in Oahu, Hawaii. This assessment came as part of the client's environmental due diligence for a planned development of a large-scale residential housing complex, which will serve the community as a much-needed solution to the great need for affordable housing on the island of Oahu.

The subject property currently encompasses approximately 19.72 acres of undeveloped East Kapolei land, located near Ewa Beach and Pearl Harbor, and is owned by a state agency, who is ultimately facilitating this proposed affordable housing development. The land is being leased by the client to manage the property. Construction of the 75-unit complex will take about 18 months and is slated for completion in 2019.

This assessment was performed in accordance with ASTM International Practice E1527-13, Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process.
