About the Project

The Hudson Transmission project is an eight mile completely underground route for a new electric power cable connecting the PSE&G power station in Ridgefield Park to the ConEd substation at 49th Street in Manhattan. The purpose of this project is to provide a new source of electrical power for New York City customers as well as making significant upgrades and reinforcements to the transmission system in New Jersey. Partner Professionals were a part of a team that initially prepared the necessary surveys, site plans and easement documents for this $800 million dollar project.

Hudson Transmission Partners as an affiliate of PowerBridge, LLC, an independent developer and operator of major transmission lines such as the Hudson and Neptune transmission projects between New Jersey and New York, retained Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. to prepare final as-built surveys and easement maps once the construction was completed in June 2013.
