Energy Audit

An energy audit is a systematic inspection, survey, and analysis of the energy consumption of a building and its energy-consuming infrastructures. The primary purpose of an energy audit is to identifying opportunities to reduce consumption, reduce costs, increase efficiency, enhance property value and promote occupant comfort, health and safety. Energy audits are completed through establishing a baseline energy consumption, identifying and quantifying discrete energy usages, benchmarking energy use against similar facilities and identifying energy usage and cost saving opportunities.
