SBA Icon Jim Gamble Joins Partner's Advisory Board

Partner ESI - Jim Gamble Joins Partner's Advisory BoardPartner Engineering and Science, Inc. (Partner) is pleased to welcome Jim Gamble to Partner’s Advisory Board. With over 50 years of experience, Mr. Gamble is a veteran in the commercial real estate construction industry. He helped transform the construction risk management industry by enhancing the funds control process to reduce lender risk. He also pioneered the Completion Guarantee program. Mr. Gamble is well-known in the SBA world of construction risk management, having been heavily involved in various SBA groups, including NAGGL and NADCO.

“Jim is an iconic figure in the construction risk management industry. He developed some of the construction risk tools that we use today and has a deep understanding of what drives construction risk for SBA Lenders. I am looking forward to working with him to build the next generation of risk management tools,” said Joe Derhake, PE, CEO of Partner.

Mr. Gamble will serve on Partner’s Advisory Board, offering his expertise and guidance to Partner’s construction risk management practice. Partner’s construction practice focuses on proactive risk mitigation services for both the pre-construction due diligence and throughout the entirety of the construction process, including in the event of contractor failure.

Mr. Gamble brings an impressive track record in the construction risk management industry. Prior to joining Partner’s advisory board, Mr. Gamble served as Tetra Tech’s Vice President and Director of Construction Risk Management. He started his construction career as a licensed special inspector for the City of Seattle’s construction divisions, later moving to a large A&E firm where he worked as a construction manager / project manager. In 1988 he founded Construction Management Inspection, Inc., which he sold to Tetra Tech in 1993, and helped them grow their construction practice.
