Ruth Park Talks Designing for Accessibility Under ADA Standards and the IBC (International Building Code)

Honolulu, HIRuth Park, AIA will be the keynote speaker at a seminar on designing for accessibility under ADA Standards in Honolulu. The seminar will help attendees understand the relationship between ADA federal requirements, state requirements, and building codes.

Ruth will be solely presenting the full-day lecture and will help clients identify entities and facilities that are covered by the ADA and will go in depth about the need-to-know aspects about interior and exterior accessible routes. Additional topics will include further development of accessible code requirements by the International Code Council, hospoitality requirements, FHA requirements, parking, restroom facilities, showers, and drinking fountains.

The conference is a one-day educational and networking event for professionals in the real estate/design engineering/construction industries and was held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa in Honolulu.
