Partner Ranked Top Due Diligence Firm in Texas

EDR has named Partner the top provider of Phase I ESAs by volume in Texas for Q3 of 2014.

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc., a national provider of environmental and engineering due diligence services, has been rated the top provider of Phase I ESAs by volume in Texas by EDR ScoreKeeper – the nationwide market monitor for the environmental due diligence industry. Partner was also ranked as the top-performing provider nationally.

As the number one provider, Partner performed 482 transactions in the State of Texas in the third quarter of 2014. This constitutes an impressive 9% of all Phase I ESA transactions in that market, which is up two percent from Partner’s market share at the same time the year before. According to the EDR Scorekeeper’s Metro Leader report, Partner increased the number of Phase I ESAs it performed in major cities in Texas during the third quarter of 2014 by an average of 18% compared to Q3 2013.

“The number of Phase I ESA transactions is indicative of the performance of the commercial real estate and construction market as a whole” explained Summer Gell, Dallas-based Principal and National Client Manager at Partner. “This is because environmental due diligence services, such as Phase I ESAs, are generally required three to four weeks prior to closing of commercial real estate transactions.”

Partner has a strong presence in Texas – with offices in Dallas and Houston and a large team of environmental staff who have deep knowledge of local regulations and conditions. “EDR Scorekeeper’s recognition of our dominance in the Texas market over recent years has helped us dedicate and grow our resources in the region to ensure we continue to meet demand for services in this strong-performing market” said Gell.

Partner was also ranked number 1 by volume in California, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Utah, and Washington.

EDR Scorekeeper is published by Environmental Data Resources, Inc., the leading provider of environmental risk information services and related workflow applications in the country, and provides strategic and quantitative analysis of Phase I Environmental Site Assessment activity nationally, regionally and by state.
