Landscape and Lighting Design

The use of lighting elements can enhance the aesthetic, safety, sustainability, and atmosphere of a landscape design project. Partner’s landscape architects and mechanical engineers can work in tandem to create a lightening design to compliment a park, streetscape, athletic field, or any other recreational facility.

How can lighting design be used in my landscape project?

Lights can be placed at ground level aiming upward to highlight focal points in the landscape, such as specimen trees, signs, and architectural features. Lights placed above an object or area and aimed downward can imitate natural light or for providing security to an area. Lights placed just above grade level along sidewalks or informal paths in the landscape can improve safety. Decorative lighting can set a particular mood or create atmosphere.

Partner’s landscape design professionals can prepare a conceptual lighting design, specify lighting equipment, coordinate the installation, and prepare maintenance documents.
