(DEI) engaged Partner Engineering and Science to conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments during their acquisition of six large office properties from Arden Realty. Partner’s Phase I ESAs were required on an expedited schedule and required environmental and industrial hygiene professional services. Partner’s project manager was Monique Burrola, REA and Joseph Derhake, PE, served as the Principle-in-Charge of the engagement.
The six large office buildings were valued at $610 million and included 1.4 million square foot of office space in Los Angeles submarkets. This transaction was one of the largest transactions in California to date in 2008. John Meehan, Vice President with Douglas Emmett, said, “Partner played an integral part in the process, providing us with the timely verbal advice and final reports that helped us better understand the assets we were buying.”
