Katie Morgan, EP

Katie Morgan is an experienced and knowledgeable project manager located in New Orleans, Louisiana who has performed various environmental consulting services such as Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Wetland Delineations, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) assessments, permitting, risk-based assessments and remediation. She has been responsible for project management, project setup, field investigations, development of sampling plans, analytical data review and summary, regulatory interaction, report preparation and Geographical Information System (GIS) map production.

Ms. Morgan has conducted Risk Evaluation Corrective Action Plan (RECAP) evaluations involving identifying Areas of Concern (AOC) and Areas of Investigation (AOI), comparing results to the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) Screening Standards and various Management Options.

Ms. Morgan has experience in groundwater monitoring. She has assisted in all phases of soil and groundwater sample logging, collection, preservation and shipping.

Ms. Morgan has experience in conducting all aspects of wetlands determinations, delineations, permitting, and mitigation. She has completed several NEPA Investigations and reports for various clients. This work involved determining the environmental impact of specific types of projects on the surrounding environment and the identification of endangered species habitats, floodplain, habitat recognition, cultural resources, Native American Indian tribal land, and other environmental and socioeconomic conditions.

Ms. Morgan has performed environmental oversight at brownfields redevelopment sites, erosion and sedimentation control inspections and related reporting and permitting.
