D. Matthew Stuart, PE, SE, PEng, F.ASCE, F.SEI, A.NAFE, brings over 45 years of experience to his role as Senior Structural Engineer in Partner’s Integrated Facilities Solutions Structural practice. Leaning on his diverse project history, Mr. Stuart provides consulting services for structural and façade investigations and conducts similar investigations for property condition assessments.
Prior to joining Partner, Mr. Stuart served as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Structural Department Head, and/or Engineer of Record on a wide variety of commercial, institutional, manufacturing, process, and industrial facilities. He has been responsible for the design, coordination, administration, and management of structural engineering on projects throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and South America. Mr. Stuart is well-versed in structural and façade engineering practices for historic properties, having directed the renovation and preservation of a variety of buildings and structures. Mr. Stuart has directed engineering and CADD from initial design through the development of contract documents and construction administration enabling the completion of projects within the stipulated time frame and construction budget. He has also designed and implemented the strengthening and restoration of a wide range of deficient and deteriorated buildings and structures.
In addition to being a registered Professional Engineer (PE) and Structural Engineer (SE), Mr. Stuart is registered as a Professional Engineer in Canada (PEng), a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (F.ASCE), a Fellow of the Structural Engineering Institute (F.SEI), and an Associate of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers (A.NAFE).
