About

Wes Skinner, CHMM is a Principal and National Client Manager for Partner, and is responsible for the oversight and management of environmental, engineering, energy, industrial hygiene, valuation, and asset management services. Mr. Skinner focuses on reducing client risk through quality and expedient responses to the demanding environmental, engineering, and regulatory requirements of his clients. In addition to leading operations at the Partner Michigan office, he has served as national client manager and senior project manager for numerous portfolios and thousands of industrial, municipal, commercial, and residential environmental and engineering assessments around the world.

Mr. Skinner’s experience in North America and Europe has included the execution of assessments in over 55 states, provinces, and countries covering all aspects of real estate due diligence (Appraisal / Property Condition Assessments / Phase I Environmental Site Assessments / Phase II Environmental Site Assessments / Baseline Environmental Assessments / ALTA / Zoning), seismic risk assessments, solar due diligence, Environmental, Social, Governance and Resilience (ESG+R) services, documentation of due care compliance, leaking underground storage tank assessment and closure, remedial action plans, geotechnical investigations, on-site environmental data acquisition and analysis, remedial cost estimation, waste disposal oversight and coordination, air quality monitoring for waste disposal operations, construction progress monitoring, seismic probable maximum loss assessments, lead-based paint mitigation oversight, and hydrologic modeling for plume and contaminant transport. Mr. Skinner currently provides specialized services to a variety of real estate investors and lenders using his depth of experience to appropriately categorize, quantify, and address risk.

Mr. Skinner’s work around the globe has included the assessment of a variety of properties including paint manufacturing facilities, transformer manufacturing plants, aluminum extrusion factories, plating facilities, bulk oil storage and distribution facilities, Class A high-rise office buildings, and 400-home residential communities. His diversity across residential, industrial, municipal, and commercial industry sectors is a major contribution to Partner’s team in the Midwest and Great Lakes regions of the United States.
