Partner Acquires The Phoenix-Based MC Consultants Environmental Health & Safety Group

Torrance, CA – January 8, 2020 – Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. (Partner), a national environmental, engineering and energy consulting firm headquartered in Torrance, CA has acquired the Environmental Services Division of MC Consultants, Inc. and will retain the talented team members.  Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, the environmental team provides high quality and cost effective environmental consulting and industrial hygiene services.

“The MC environmental team brings considerable experience to bolster Partner’s substantial environmental health, safety and compliance practice in the Phoenix valley and beyond,” said John Wharff, Partner Director of Operations.  “In combination with Partner’s three in-house Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIHs), more than 40 EHS professionals and a mission-level commitment to this practice, we are confident this transition will be a win-win for both MC’s clients and Partner’s.”

Over the last 10 years the MC Consultants, Inc. environmental team has helped ensure safe and healthy operations for a variety of clients including healthcare facility operators, real estate investors, public agencies, and mining corporations, among others.  They have earned the trust of companies such as Banner Health, Healthcare Management of America, Mayo Clinic, Macerich, Tucson Power, Louis Berger, and St Joseph’s Hospital.  These and other companies have relied on the team for the assessment and management of concerns such as mold, bacteria, asbestos, lead, and indoor air quality, as well as for OSHA compliance and expert witness services.
