Los Angeles, CA – Partner’s CEO Joe Derhake was invited to share his expertise about the impact of technology on the commercial real estate industry at the upcoming CRE//TECH Intersect 2016 conference in Los Angeles. Derhake has been exploring the new risks and opportunities created by technological developments in recent months, and has spoken widely on the subject.
CRE//TECH 2016 will take place on Wednesday March 23, from 3pm to 7pm (PDT) at The Park DTLA (201-281 S. Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90012.) Derhake will join a panel of investors, lenders and brokers to discuss how technology is disrupting components and businesses within the CRE industry, how it can impact asset values, and how it can be applied to create a competitive advantage by improving efficiencies and risk management.
“As an industry, we need to be taking a close look at the impact that new technologies are having on the way we use, buy, sell, and lend on commercial real estate” said Derhake. “Being able to anticipate and adjust to the next big technology coming will give you a leg up in the increasingly competitive CRE market.”
Parker Jones (John Hancock); Berick Treidler (CBRE); Marc Gittleman (Rising Realty Partners and 5×5 Telecom); Jeff Rinkov (Lee & Associates); and Chris Babcock (Real Capital Markets) will also join the panel discussion.
CRE//TECH is a relatively new but hugely popular event series, which was started to bring together CRE industry leaders to discuss and learn about emerging and innovative technologies.
