Joe Derhake, CEO of Partner Engineering and Science, Inc., has been invited to speak at the upcoming MBA CREF, to be held at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando, Florida January 31- February 3. Derhake’s presentation How is Technology Improving Underwriting While Creating Risk of Obsolescence? on Monday February 1 at 11:15-11:45 will explore the risks and opportunities that new technologies will create within the CRE industry.
Derhake will also discuss some interesting findings obtained during a recent survey of professionals from across the commercial real estate industry conducted by Partner, including technologies that enable better collection and sharing of data, predictive analytics and process automation will have a significant impact on the way commercial real estate finance transactions take place. Technology can create a competitive advantage, but it can also affect security risks and change asset values. Derhake will be focusing on how technology is making the underwriting process more efficient while creating a risk of real estate obsolescence.
MBA CREF is attended by more than 3,000 commercial and multifamily real estate finance professionals seeking networking, relationship building and deal makingopportunities.
