Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. (“Partner”) is pleased to announce the renewal of their continued relationship with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (“WBENC”). Partner first received their national WBENC certification in the summer of 2013. This certification is accepted by more than a thousand corporations that represent America’s most prestigious brands. It is also recognized by many states, cities and other local entities, and is an approved Third Party Certifier for the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contracting Program.
“Maintaining our certification with the WBENC is respectable for business. Many of our clients are corporate members with WBENC and value corporations that support women-owned businesses like Partner,” Dana Derhake, Founding Principal and Owner of Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. said. “These days, both government agencies and corporate clients are interested in organizations with this certification”.
Many of Partner’s clients have programs that encourage contracting work to women-owned businesses. Having a national certification helps Partner document our status across the United States. “Partner has a national and international presence with 35 offices throughout the United States and Europe. Having a National Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) Certification makes it easier to communicate interest to parties at the local, state, and national level”, said Monique Burrola, Partner’s Chief Operating Officer.
The WBENC’s mission is “to fuel economic growth globally through access to opportunities by identifying, certifying and facilitating development of women-owned businesses”. More information on WBENC can be found on their website here.
