Torrance, CA; Farmington, CT; and Framingham, MA —Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is growing its Northeast practice. We are pleased to announce that we are establishing offices in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Our practice in the Boston and Hartford areas is also continuing to see an increase in need for local staff.
Partner has recently hired a number of key people in these offices, including Senior Project Manager and East Coast Environmental Technical Director Stanley Rutkowski, who is heading up the Boston practice. Mr. Rutkowski brings more than 25 years of experience in the environmental consulting field and a strong local knowledge to the Boston Partner team, which provides Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II Environmental testing, Property Condition Reports, Asbestos Surveys, Lead Testing, and Seismic Assessments in support of local and nationwide commercial and multifamily real estate transactions.
Mr. Rutkowski has extensive experience in due diligence assessments for a variety of property types and transactions. At Partner, Mr. Rutkowski provides senior review expertise and staff training to ensure ASTM and AAI compliance and satisfaction of client requirements for Phase I ESAs, TSAs and desktop reviews.
In Partner’s Hartford office, Kevin Schmitt, PE, has joined as the Technical Director‐Building Sciences, Investment Advisory Group. Mr. Schmitt has more than three decades of experience in the building engineering sciences. Mr. Schmitt previously spent six years with Marx/Okubo Associates Inc., where he established and managed the firm’s Northeast Regional office in Farmington, CT.
Throughout much of his career, both as an outside consultant and an in‐house engineer, Mr. Schmitt has advised institutional investors on the condition of properties from an engineering and seismic perspective. Mr. Schmitt has a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, and is registered professional engineer in Connecticut.
