Partner is a qualified contractor with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) for site assessment and remediation work within Florida. To be qualified by the FDEP, a contractor must be certified as a professional firm with Florida-licensed geologists and professional engineers and show direct experience in meeting the requirements of the FDEP’s soil and groundwater quality management standards. This qualification allows Partner to turnkey our due diligence practice from Phase I and II ESAs to full-site soil and groundwater assessments and remedial design if needed.
There are over 1,000 properties already in the FDEP’s Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP), which mandates that the FDEP finance and direct site remediation at these sites at no cost to the property owner. As a qualified contractor, Partner can evaluate if any of these sites are eligible for expedited assessment and/or remediation in accordance with the Low-Scored Site Initiative (LSSI), which can result in a formal regulatory case closure for on-site petroleum contamination at no cost to the property owner. Furthermore, if a property owner wishes to expedite site remediation at a non-LSSI property, Partner can evaluate other options for the owner, including cost-sharing with the FDEP, the Advanced Cleanup Program, or other cost-saving opportunities.
Should you have any such properties within Florida, please contact us to discuss further.
