Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. continues to expand its international footprint through its subsidiary Partner Property Consultants (PPC), announcing two key appointments to its London office. The firm has welcomed Shalani Dassanayake, BEng (Hons) as Sustainability Consultant, and Thomas Haw, BA (Hons) MSc MRCIS as Senior Surveyor, further strengthening its service capabilities across the United Kingdom and European markets.
Shalani Dassanayake joins PPC from AECOM’s Sustainability Department, bringing extensive experience in energy audits, operational energy modeling, and decarbonization projects. Her impressive portfolio includes collaborations with U.K. government departments, property developers, tech companies, and private clients. At PPC, Dassanayake will spearhead the expansion of energy audit services throughout Europe, adapting successful US models to align with European regulations.
“Partner was the right step for me,” says Dassanayake. “I wanted to specialize in operational energy and Partner was a good fit. I am looking forward to expanding these services across Europe.” Conducting pivotal embodied carbon research for U.K. Government on the technical, practical, and economic impacts of policy-driven embodied carbon reductions during her time at AECOM.
Thomas Haw, a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with an MSc in Building Surveying from Kingston University, brings over four years of expertise in building surveying, technical due diligence, and project management. Previously with Ingleton Wood LLP, Haw’s experience spans industrial manufacturing facilities, large-scale residential and commercial buildings, and government projects across Europe.
