New York, NY — Partner Engineering and Science, Inc., a leading environmental due diligence consulting firm specializing in the commercial real estate industry, is pleased to announce the addition of Richard Hazel to its team as a Relationship Manager. Hazel brings a wealth of experience in the commercial real estate sector to the role and looks forward to expanding Partner’s client base and expanding the relationships he enjoys with his existing clients.
“I am elated to be joining Partner at this moment in time. Many national due diligence service providers are reducing the size of their teams. This has already impacted clients with slower reports, greater expense, and missed opportunities. Partner, however, is investing in its future, growing its team, and making good on its commitment to help clients manage risk, make smart investments, and optimize its performance. This Partner team is absolutely World-Class,” says Hazel.
One of Hazel’s most notable accomplishments was his instrumental role in overseeing the due diligence efforts that resulted in the successful liquidation of 210 JC Penny stores across the United States. Additionally, he played a key role in a significant solar feasibility project that encompassed ALTA/Zoning/Equity assessments for a large portfolio of 35 properties across the American Southwest.
Hazel served as the Business Development Director for NV5/Real Estate Transaction Services, a nationwide provider of transaction due diligence reports. In this role, he grew revenue and managed relationships across the northeastern U.S. and eastern Canada. Hazel was the top-producing revenue generator for NV5/RETS from 2019 until his recent departure.
Prior to that, Hazel served as the Director of Marketing at the Rent Stabilization Association of New York City, a pro-landlord trade association. While at RSA, Richard significantly increased membership, expanded member service offerings, and modernized member engagement strategies.
“We are excited to have Richard Hazel on board as a Relationship Manager in our New York office,” said Frank S. Romeo Jr., President of Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. “With his extensive experience and proven track record in the industry, we look forward to his contributions in delivering top-notch due diligence reporting services and engineering solutions to our clients.”
Richard Hazel is hopeful that his experience and client-centric focus will strengthen the firm’s position as a leader in environmental due diligence consulting for the commercial real estate industry.
A graduate of Pace University, he is a resident of Melville, New York where he lives with his wife and their three children.
