Top Due Diligence Firm Utah 3Q 2014

By Partner ESI

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. (Partner) has been ranked as the top service provider of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) by volume in Utah for the third quarter of 2014 by Environmental Data Resources, Inc. (EDR) ScoreKeeper – the nationwide market monitor for the environmental due diligence industry. Partner was also ranked as the top provider nationally.

From its Salt Lake City office, Partner performed 15% of the Phase I ESAs in Utah, which is more than the number of assessments performed by the second- and third-ranked firm combined. Compared to the third-quarter of 2013, Partner more than doubled the number of transactions it supported in Utah.

“Driven by a tighter risk management climate – including recent changes to OCC guidelines that include more stringent vendor management requirements – the industry is moving towards bigger, more stable firms” explained Salt Lake City-based Principal and National Client Manager Marshall Stanclift. “We’ve continued to grow our resources in Utah to ensure that we remain well-equipped to meet the expertise and certification requirements to service the growing demand for our services in this diverse environmental region.”

Partner was also ranked number 1 by ESAs performed nationally, and in the following individual states: California, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Texas, and Washington.

EDR Scorekeeper is the market monitor for the environmental due diligence industry providing strategic and quantitative analysis of Phase I Environmental Site Assessment activity nationally, regionally and by state. Environmental Due Diligence services, such as Phase I ESAs, serve as an indicator of broader commercial real estate and construction trends because they are required three to four weeks prior to closing of commercial real estate transactions.
