PFAS: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

I recently co-authored an article in the Environmental Bankers Association Summer Journal with Jeanine Grachuk, a Principal at Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), including perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), are used in many common non-stick coatings, but often contaminate water and can be a huge environmental liability. Proper due diligence can help assess these risks for the lender in an ever-changing regulatory environment.
