American Land Title Association (ALTA) is the largest trade organization representing title insurance agents, abstracters, and underwriters in the United States. ALTA members search, review, and insure land titles for real estate buyers, sellers, and lenders. ALTA is the co-authority that establishes Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
