The National Engineering and Environmental Due Diligence Association (NEEDDA) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization formed to promote the common interests of engineering and environmental consulting stakeholders who provide due diligence for real estate transactions.
One of NEEDDA’s primary goals is to promote greater consistency and quality in the practices of due diligence consultants through establishing voluntary best practices. NEEDDA’s proposed activities include education, publications, conferences, research, and accreditation and certification programs.
An important first project within the educational component is to create standardized “NEEDDA Approved” contract documents that will serve as a resource for firms delivering environmental and engineering due diligence services and their clients.
NEEDDA was incorporated on December 19, 2012 and over the last year, Partner along with six of the nation’s top engineering and environmental due diligence providers, have met to form bylaws and lay the foundations of the organization.
Partner is pleased to be a founding member of NEEDDA.
