CDC Guidance on Ventilation in Schools and Childcare Facilities

The CDC recently released new guidance on Ventilation in Schools and Childcare Facilities. The overall premise is to dilute any potentially contaminated air (i.e. air with viral particles) with fresh, outdoor air in combination with increased filtration.

Elizabeth Romano currently serves as a National Client Manager for Partner Engineering and Science Inc. For the last 12 years, Ms. Romano has managed turnkey environmental and infrastructure programs for clients with sizable portfolios of real estate. She has been vital in the development and implementation of an environmental risk governance program for a Fortune 50 banking client where her team developed a program to help govern the client’s domestic real estate portfolio of approximately 6,000 banking center, administrative and data center facilities from an environmental risk perspective. This program included a comprehensive series of onsite and desktop environmental audits annually, as well as targeted programmatic checks and balances to ensure outsourced vendors are managing the bank’s facilities in alignment with its Environmental Management System.
