In the video below, one of Partner’s SPRAT-certified rope access technicians is performing a façade assessment on a 41-story residential tower in Seattle, Washington. The evaluation was part of a Property Condition Assessment service in support of an acquisition by an institutional buyer. Our assessor examined the exterior glazing, gaskets, and sealants to gain a representative sampling of the exterior wall conditions.
Partner’s Building Envelope Solutions team offers rope access assessments as an efficient way to inspect a building façade for signs of deterioration, damage, or premature performance problems. Sometimes, rope access is the only way to gain visual access to properly inspect a façade, particularly in places where drone use is restricted or inappropriate, as with inspection of residential properties.
Watch Mike Bock assist with rigging while Josh Feider (wearing blue) and Benjamin Warren (wearing black) conduct the façade assessment.
