The catalyst for the webinar was the Envionmental Protection Agency (EPA) revising the CWA construction stormwater rule effective May 5, 2014. States are changing their permitting process to meet the new EPA requirments. The EPA is also in the process of updating its stormwater strategy, posing current and potential challenges to those who must be permitted. This CLE webinar reviewed the revised EPA stormwater discharge permit requirements, outlined best practices for complying with the permitting process, and explored trends among state agencies issueing stormwater discharge permits.
