Thomas A. Campbell, LSP

Mr. Tom Campbell, LSP has over 20 years of experience in the environmental engineering/consulting industry. Mr. Campbell serves as a Subsurface Investigation Project Manager performing Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and remediation of contaminated sites. Mr. Campbell is a Licensed Site Professional (LSP) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As a LSP, Mr. Campbell provides consultation with the client, project manager, and project team to direct the site assessment within the framework of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP).

Mr. Campbell’s relevant project experience in the due diligence services has generally been in the form of a project manager with duties including design, implementation, and reporting of subsurface investigations and remediation projects. Mr. Campbell’s areas of expertise include United States Housing and Urban Development (HUD) peer review projects and investigations of chlorinated solvents and petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater.

Additionally, Mr. Campbell has significant experience in performing environmental site assessments under U.S. EPA and Department of Navy federal contracts for a variety of property types. Specifically, Mr. Campbell has performed Preliminary Assessments/Site Investigations, Data Gaps Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Subsurface Investigations, Long-Term Monitoring Programs, Five-Year Reviews, and multi-media sampling. Duties included developing conceptual site models for sampling plans, project management, procurement of subcontracts, and maintaining positive working relationships with client and stakeholders. Mr. Campbell was responsible for the completion of reports that included human health and ecological risk assessment components.

Mr. Campbell also currently volunteers on the City of Salem Conservation Commission which is a local municipal board that implements the Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act and the City of Salem Wetland Ordinance. Duties include reviewing development proposals and as-built engineering plans in and near wetland resource areas.
