Aaron Epstein has approximately 30 years of experience in environmental and geotechnical engineering. Specifically, Mr. Epstein has performed numerous Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Subsurface Investigations, Characterization and Remediation Design Projects, as well as Geotechnical Services. Mr. Epstein a Technical Relationship Manager for Partner and supports the eastern US regional operations of the Subsurface Investigation Group and considers his primary service as providing strategic real estate consulting for properties with environmental compliance and engineering obstacles.
Mr. Epstein’s relevant project experience in the due diligence and remediation services has generally been in the position of a senior project manager with duties including senior review of design, implementation, and reporting of subsurface investigations. Beyond the due diligence, most of his services have included management and/or technical specialist of groundwater production and sitting projects, nearly fifty large projects with state and/or federal agency oversight including multiple Superfund Sites, RCRA Facility Investigations, geotechnical investigations, permitted and unpermitted landfill projects, Brownfields, and specialized due diligence for REITs, lenders, and Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Epstein is frequently a technical and managerial lead for expert opinion and expert witness projects related to toxic tort cases and complex real estate transactions having contamination as well as providing third party review. Many of these cases have involved multiple types of landfills and waste impoundments throughout the Mid-Atlantic, PCE impacted production wells, and multiple projects involving natural gas drilling of the Marcellus Shale.
