Danny Kim is a Project Manager within the Equity PCA practice at Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. (Partner), and a commercial real estate (CRE) due diligence consultant, based in San Diego, California. His responsibilities include planning, executing, and delivering high-quality projects that meet deadlines and budget constraints. He is responsible for coordinating the efforts of Partner team members and overseeing quality control throughout the project’s life cycle.
Prior to joining Partner, Mr. Kim gained experience as a Senior Project Designer at Kitchell, where he conducted Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) and feasibility studies, worked on facilities master plans, and assembled construction document packages. During his career at Kitchell, Mr. Kim conducted FCAs on facilities of various types including offices, K-12, fire stations, libraries, police stations, airports, detention facilities, and other municipal or institutional buildings. He was also responsible for managing the project schedule and training new assessors to perform FCAs. Mr. Kim managed the QA/QC process for deliverables such as the final report and the client’s asset equipment inventory, ensuring the client received a high-quality deliverable according to schedule.
In addition to assessments, Mr. Kim has experience preparing construction document packages for small-scale design projects and tenant improvements. Mr. Kim has also prepared criteria document packages for airport ADA improvements and new fire station construction. His involvement in these design projects included creating design concepts, managing BIM models and CAD drawings, and developing the report format. Mr. Kim is a detail-oriented individual who has a diverse set of technical and creative skills and a passion for problem-solving.
