Sean Daly, PE has successfully managed single- and multi-site Property Condition Assessment due diligence projects encompassing a broad range of property types and clientele. He has played an integral role in the due diligence process for a wide range of equity clients, commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) lenders, and leading nationwide banks in accordance with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E 2018-15: Baseline Property Condition Assessment Process.
With over 13 years of experience, Mr. Daly has authored, managed, and reviewed hundreds of Property Condition Assessments, Probable Maximum Loss, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments of retail, office, industrial, multifamily residential, special-use properties, as well as assisted-living facilities conducted under Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae DUS and HUD guidelines, throughout the United States for a wide range of lending institutions. He regularly interfaces directly with bank loan officers, regulatory agencies, and investors on subjects including code compliance, liability, as well as contracting and scope-of-work issues. Major projects include large-scale loan portfolios and due diligence assessments encompassing equity-level Property Condition Assessments which have included projects requiring aggregation of specialized service scopes within the field of building sciences.
