Partner performed the Engineering and Environmental Due Diligence for the remortgage of one of Manhattan’s most exclusive office buildings, Sheldon Solow’s Trophy Tower (9 West 57th). The newest property in Solow’s collection, which includes several properties on New York’s 57th street (10, 16, and 20), is a 50-story commercial office building, boasting unobstructed views of Central Park, and includes two penthouse levels and three sub-grade basement levels.
Partner performed all assessments in accordance with ASTM standards and the specific needs of the client, including: an assessment of the Buildings Structural Frame/ Envelope, Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Systems, Accessibility, and Natural Hazard Information. Additionally, Partner provided seismic zone information and opinion of cost for anticipated capital expenditures.
This historic building houses professional office space, restaurant and parking garage operations. In addition to the main structure, the subject property boasts a paved courtyard.
