The subject property is a 300+ acre retail development in Wesley Chapel involving the acquisition and redevelopment of a shopping center and infrastructure roadway development commencing in 2008. Partner has been involved in the implementation, management and direction of the environment program management as part of the land acquisition including groundwater and soil assessment/remedial actions associated with environmental cleanup resulting from a former gas station UST system fuel release and historical dry cleaning operations and chlorinated solvent impacts located on the subject property and out-parcels.
Partner has worked closely with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Southwest District for the remedial actions and monitoring programs associated with these discharges and compliance with regulatory closure requirements. The former gas station fuel impacts were successfully remediated and achieved a No Further Action status from the FDEP in 2013. The dry cleaning solvent release has undergone years of insitu bio-remediation and chemical oxidation and is presently in a groundwater monitoring program for natural attention.
