Partner provided a rush turnaround on Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) with Lead and Asbestos Surveys for a portfolio of telecom projects in Michigan. Partner worked closely with the tower company’s (Client) facility managers on access issues to the telecom compounds to immediately mobilize to the sites and meet these tight deadlines.
Based on the findings from the Phase I ESA, Partner further recommended a Phase II ESA for one of the sites in order to evaluate the potential impact of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and/or polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) to soil and/or groundwater within the two proposed compound/lease expansion areas as a consequence of historical parent property operations. The sampling procedures were completed to the requirements of the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
In addition, Partner also handled the removal and proper disposal of an empty 500-gallon propane tank that was remaining at one of the subject properties.
The client was able to rely on Partner as their go-to for quick turnaround projects which helped them efficiently close their deals at a much faster rate than if they had used a competitor. Not only did the client rely on Partner for a quick turn on various properties located throughout Michigan, they were able to turn to Partner to complete further site investigations and remediation for sites requiring additional action from the MDEQ.
