Partner professionals served as the Sustainable Energy Consultant to the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission (PVSC). In our role, we provide the following services: preparation of Energy Advisors and Position Papers that detail the status of the deregulation market on a periodic basis; attendance at meetings with PVSC representatives to educate them on the steps necessary to create a successful energy procurement process; preparation of specifications and bid documents governing the electric and natural gas commodity purchases for PVSC; recommending to the PVSC Board the successful TPS for electric and natural gas; monitoring and reviewing the selected electric and natural gas supplier’s performance during the course of the energy agreement; evaluation of renewable energy opportunities, including solar PV and biodiesel; conducting energy efficiency audits throughout the plant in an effort to institute energy conservation measures; and evaluation of current greenhouse gases and strategies for reduction over the course of the next several years.
