Published on Jan. 2, 2025, in Berkeley Lab‘s Building Performance Software Report
On January 2nd, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory published the report, Building Performance Software: Portfolio-Level Capabilities and Applications, which “reviews the ecosystem of environmental, social, and governance (ESG), energy management information systems (EMIS), and decarbonization software with the goal of orienting prospective users to current offerings.” The report “offers a snapshot of today’s rapidly evolving decarbonization software capabilities.”
Decarbonization software can help property owners and asset managers achieve their energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction goals for a portfolio of buildings, from target setting and prioritizing portfolios to defining an emissions reduction plan.
For example, Partner Energy’s Sustainability SaaS (SiteLynx) provides multiple functionalities in support of clients’ ESG, Decarbonization, Energy Compliance, and Property Resilience goals, and is one of the software featured in the report.
